Directions
DIRECTIONS FROM THE M25 - A2 - M2.
From the M25 take the the junction for the M2 - A2 towards Ramsgate and Dover. This junction is very close to the Dartford Tunnel. From this point the journey should take approximately 50 minutes.
The M2 after several miles becomes the A2, which then joins on to the A299 heading towards Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate.
After driving on the A299 for about 15 - 20 minutes, you will come across three roundabouts.
At the first roundabout take the 3rd exit (right).
At the second roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight across)
At the third roundabout (the Minster roundabout), take the 1st exit (left) on to the B2048 towards Acol.
After you have turned left at this roundabout you will soon come across two final roundabouts. Turn right at both roundabouts. You will now be on the B2190 heading towards Manston.
After about 1 mile you will come to a staggered junction. Opposite you will be able to see the Spitfire and Hurricane Museum. At this junction turn right onto the B2050 Manston Road heading towards Manston.
After about 1/2 mile on your left hand side, you will come to Manston Court Road, take this turning. You will pass two fields on your right hand side, the second field has trees at the front, and there are normally horses in it. Next to that field are converted farm buildings, and just beyond that is a garage block to our property with a drive through the middle. Drive through the garages and we live opposite.
DIRECTIONS FROM DOVER / FOLKESTONE.
From Folkestone head towards Dover on the A20. This should take about 10 to 15 minutes in the car, and once you are on the dual carriage way, it is one straight road.
From Dover (at the large roundabout with the port on your right hand side), turn right taking the A2 up a lovely winding road which gives a great view of the port. At the roundabout at the top of the hill go straight across continuing on the A2.
Take the first exit off the A2 turning right at the roundabout at the top of the hill, on to the A256. Keep following this road for about 20 miles. It should take about 20/25 minutes to get to Cliffs End. You will see the sea on your right hand side, and there will be a wooden Viking ship on display.
Within about 1 mile you will come to two roundabouts. Keep following the A256, so at the first roundabout you will go straight across, and at the second you will turn right.
After about 1/2 mile, there will be one final roundabout with a wooden dragon in the middle. Turn left following the signs for Manston Village and the B2050. As you drive through the village, you will pass a width restriction, and then a church (St Catherine's) on your right, and a public house (The Jolly Farmer) on your left.
Soon after that you will see a field on your right hand side, and at the end of the field will be Manston Court Road. Turn right here.
You will then pass two fields on your right, the second field has trees at the front, and it normally has horses in it. Next to that field are converted barns, and our garages are next to the barn. There will be a driveway through the center of the garages, please drive through and we live opposite.
BUSES AND TRAINS.
The nearest train station is Ramsgate (3 miles approximately), although Margate and Broadstairs train stations are only just a little further (4 miles).
There is a bus route about 1/2 mile away outside St Catherine's Church in the village, and a local bus taking you to Westwood Cross and then into the local villages has just started in Manston Court Road. It only travels once each way at 10am and 2pm each day from Monday to Friday. It can be stopped anywhere in Manston Court Road.
All accommodation's are let from Saturday 3pm to Saturday at 11am, unless otherwise arranged. The cost of accommodation includes electricity, hot water, central heating and linen.
We accept cash, cheques or credit transfers only. Payment by cheque must be made 4 weeks prior to occupation. A deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking.
