Hebden Bridge Holiday Cottages are ideally situated at the end of our private lane on the edge of the Wadsworth Moors, above the Historic and busy little town of Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.
With direct access onto the Calderdale Way, linking two miles of footpaths and bridleways, the cottages are an ideal location for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, photographers and anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet and peaceful break in a stunning location, within easy reach of a host of amenities.
The Historic 17th Century cottages have been fully restored and boast a wealth of original features:
Stone mullion windows, exposed beams and thick stone walls, provide a romantic atmosphere, with double glazing, central heating, Internet access and modern kitchens, bringing them into the 21st Century!
Red Rose cottage also has an historic huge stone open log/coal fire!
Set 1100 feet above sea level Hebden Bridge Holiday Cottages are South facing and surrounded by their own 20 acres of gently sloping farmland.
Fabulous sunrises, vivid sunsets, miles of heather covered moors and wildlife on your doorstep, tumbling streams, sparkling waterfalls and early morning mist in the valleys, provide great photo opportunities, remember to bring your camera (we can lend you some binoculars -just ask!).
Hebden Bridge with it's acclaimed shops, trendy cafes, fabulous restaurants, traditional cinema, Victorian railway station, modern art galleries and live music venues, is two miles, within a mile are two traditional village pubs serving good home made food, and Old Town village post office/shop.
