The Old Chapel is situated a few metres from extensive woodland in the Royal Forest of Dean. It is located up a small forest track and has direct access to Forest walks. The cottage is in Yorkley nr Blakeney.

Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor. The open-plan lounge/dining area measures approx 31' x 16' and has high pine-panelled ceilings and walls. It has a wood burner stove (plus oil central heating), original wooden flooring, extensive pine panelling, a Gothic chandelier and many homely features. There is a 42 inch flat-screen TV in the lounge, plus DVD player/recorder.

The double bedroom on the ground floor is situated off the lounge and is mainly done in sage green/pine panelling.
A pine staircase off the dining area takes you up to the second (galleried) double bedroom which overlooks the lounge. The ceilings in the galleried bedroom are pitched, with pine timber beams and lots of pine balustrading. The kitchen has all mod cons, including a dishwasher.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower, bath, toilet, bidet and wash-hand basin. At the rear is a utility room and a courtyard garden.
