This spacious family-owned holiday home, designed by an award-winning architect, is the ultimate in contemporary living with vaulted ceiling, glazed elevations and external terraces overlooking Somerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the Lower Mill Estate.

Found within 450 acres of unspoilt countryside in a private nature reserve, crossed by three rivers and surrounded by seven lakes you are surrounded by nature with tranquil waterscapes and serene countryside. There is an abundance of wildlife, sailing and fishing. As a guest of Goose Nest House, you have use of the indulgent, on-site £6m award-winning ArtSpa just 250 m from the house.


Kitchen/Dining area
Decorated throughout in warm, muted tones, the house is furnished to a high standard to give you and your family a comfortable away-from-it all break.

The open plan accommodation on the first floor provides a vaulted sitting/dining room with wood burning stove, leather sofas and glass fronted double-height sliding doors to a glass fronted balcony offering the opportuntity for al fresco dining.

The fully equipped modern kitchen has everything from a full-height fridge-freezer, five hob double oven, microwave and integrated dishwasher.


Bedrooms
The master bedroom is located lakeside on the ground floor with views onto Somerford Lagoon. Furnished beautifully, this bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom.

A further twin bedroom is also situated lakeside, both with a small terrace for relaxing by the water and being at one with nature. The third bedroom on the ground floor is another well furnished twin bedroom. On the first floor of the property there is child's bedroom and on the second floor there is a galleried double bedroom with ensuite shower.

The house benefits from gas central heating and allocated parking.


As a family-owned home, we hope we have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable - including free high chair and cot, children's cutlery and plates, steriliser, baby and toddler carriers, toy box, children's books and DVDs and a wide range of board games.

Children's play ground and trampoline, and lots of country walks in the 450 acre private nature reserve.

Summer: from £900 for a weekend/midweek t0 £1600 for a week.
Autumn: from £800 for a weekend/midweek to £1300 for half term.
Winter: from £800 for a weekend/midweek to £1800 for Christmas and New Year

Closed 5th January to 5th February each year to protect the overwintering birds on the Somerford Lagoon.
