Lletty Cottage ( at the left in the photograph) at Yew Tree Farm is a charming, self contained, beamed and fully equipped cottage for two providing comfortable, high quality, self catering accommodation all year, with lovely surroundings gardens including, a wildlife pond, wonderful birdlife; kites, buzzards, many garden birds and sheep in the meadow.

Lletty Cottage is an annexe to the farmhouse of Yew Tree Farm, which is a 200 year old stone Welsh former farmhouse standing in six acres of land, overlooking the Brecon Beacons.

The cottage is graded 5 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board and is situated in the heart of Carmarthenshire countryside, a rural retreat between the towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery.

The front door opens into the cosy, beamed, well furnished living room with wooden floors, comfortable chairs and sofa, TV with Freeview, DVD player, DVD's Wifi access available.

This leads to a fitted and fully equipped pine kitchen, which includes a cooker, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery.

In the adjacent dining area there is a pine table and chairs, next to an inglenook fireplace. French doors lead out onto the patio area with table and chairs and a pretty enclosed garden, with lawn and flower beds, for the exclusive use of the holiday guests.

The downstairs bathroom has a cast iron bath, WC, separate shower, heated towel rail, shaving point and hand basin.

Upstairs, accessed by open plan stairs with spindles and newel posts rescued from a Welsh chapel, is a beamed galleried bedroom with a king sized bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and dressing table.

A warm Welsh welcome awaits all visitors plus a handy pack of:
Welsh cakes, a bottle of wine, milk, sugar, coffee and tea.

It has its own pretty garden and patio with fine views over the rest of the garden, the wonderful Carmarthenshire countryside and the Brecon Beacons.


The cottage is within easy reach of the A40 main road, which gives access to all the local amenities and attractions in the area; the castles, the gardens- Aberglasney, National Botanic Gardens, the country parks, National Trust properties and the seaside (Tenby or New Quay)just over an hours drive away.

Directions
From London and the South:
M4 to the end of the motorway at Junction 49 (Pont Abraham), then to Llandeilo (A483), through Llandeilo then A40 towards Llandovery. After about 10 km, continue across a roundabout towards Llandovery, then after a further 1km, take a left turn signposted Llansadwrn, then after 400 metres take the third opening on the right (Yew Tree Farm).

From the Midlands:
M5/M50 to Ross on Wye, then A40 all the way to Llandovery. Continue through on A40 towards Llandeilo. 10km after Llandovery, and about 2 km after Llanwrda, take a sharp right signposted Llansadwrn, then after 400 metres take third opening on the right (Yew Tree Farm)
