Is a modern purpose-built holiday lodge completed in February of 2010 and kept in excellent order, it sleeps four persons but by prior agreement with the owners, and on acceptance by the guests an additional person can be catered for.

Consists of an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, bathroom with walk-in shower, WC and hand basin.

It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one that sleeps a further two persons with two single beds.

The patio doors from the lounge, give access onto a covered veranda, offering views over the secluded quarter acre paddock provided for the sole use of the lodge and its occupants.

Beside the lodge, and for the sole use of the lodge, there is off road parking for up to three vehicles.

The property is a home from home, with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday whatever the time of the year.

The property is heated via electric night storage and convector heaters enabling winter breaks.

It is fully furnished with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and hob, ironing facilities, colour TV and DVD, plus radio.

Duvet covers and duvets plus pillows and pillowcases and towels are provided.

The lodge supplies good self catering holiday accommodation and has just received a three star quality rating from Visit England the National Tourism Agency for England.

Subject to prior bookings, the owners try to be flexible on meeting guests needs, so short-term breaks may be available in any week not let.

The lodge is situated on the outskirts of Warminster with direct access to the countryside, affording views and walks to a local viewpoint known as Cley Hill an Iron Age fort.

The lodge is only a five minute drive from Longleat House and its Safari Park. Longleat House and its gardens and grounds and fishing lakes, and adjoining Shearwater lake are well worth a visit for the keen fisherman.

An excellent base for that restful, traditional summer holiday, or short summer or winter break, or as a base to visit friends, or relatives in the area.

There are nearby country walks or cycling trails, lake fishing and a chance to visit some of the finest country houses and gardens in England, plus a visit to the nearby safari park at Longleat, the home of the TV series Animal Park.

Nearby Longleat House and its woods, also provides walks, cycle trails and rides.

Warminster is also the site for a Center Parcs, which is also near Longleat House.

By car, A303 then A36 to Warminster bypass.

At Longleat roundabout take A361 to Warminster, which leads to Victoria Road. The Walnut Tree Lodge can be found at number 96.
