Charming 1800s Victorian cottage in a listed square in the country conservation village of Wingham near coastal Kent. Wingham village possesses some interesting buildings dating back to the llth century and is dominated by a huge Norman church.

The interior of this newly renovated 2 bedroom cottage has been decorated and furnished to the highest quality with an old/new theme, origianl features abound, sash windows, wrought iron fireplaces, wooden floors, plus designer touches.

From the square enter the cottage into the kitchen-diner, this is the back door. New light oak kitchen with granite worktops, stainless steel range cooker in original fireplace, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dining area with table and 6 chairs. 2 Sash windows. Original wooden floor.

Elegant lounge with an victorian open log fire which has an antique gilded French mirror over, plus three character armchairs and an Ercol day bed, original artworks. Television, free view box, DVD player, Hi-Fi. Sash window overlooking the garden, Liberty curtains. Easy stairs to landing with artworks and cloaks shelf.

3 miles distance is the town of Canterbury with its magnificent cathedral and modern shopping facilities. Nearby Dover Castle, Deal Castle and Walmer Castle. Also of interest are historic villages, gardens and a vineyard in nearby Staple.

Besides this you are near to the sea, 15 minutes drive to Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate, Folkestone, Dover, Deal and 10 minutes to the historic cinque port of Sandwich. Coastline excellent for all water sports, sailing and sea-fishing. 6 miles to Dover and the cross channel ferries.

The fees include all gas, electric and water charges.

A deposit of 25% of the rental fee is payable if the booking is made 12 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance shall be payable 12 weeks before the commencement of the rental. For bookings made less that 12 weeks prior to the commencement of the rental 50% of the total fee is payable. The balance shall be payable 6 weeks before the commencement of the rental. A refundable security deposit of £125 is payable when booking.

Cancellation for what ever reason shall be in writing to the owner. If owner succeeds in re-letting the property for the whole period all monies paid less an administration charge of £20 will be refunded. Re-letting for part period, the difference will be refunded less £20 administration charge.

All year round:
7 night stays change over day is Saturday
Extended stays by arrangement with owner. Stay for longer than a week and the housekeeper will change the linen and clean.
