Shirehill was built in C1800 and retains many of its original features, with lovely lawned gardens and views over the Nottinghamshire countryside. This is an ideal location from which to explore Robin Hood Country and Sherwood Forest, as well as the villages of the Pilgrim Fathers at Babworth and Scrooby.

The fully self contained accommodation sleeps 2 adults but will also accommodate 2 small children.

The local Georgian market town of Retford, with twice weekly markets, shops and cafes, and the ancient town of Newark with its Medieval Castle, Gardens and venue for the famous Newark International Antiques Fair, are just a short drive away.

The Historic town of Lincoln & Lincoln Cathedral just 15 minutes away and Nottingham & Nottingham Castle just 35 minutes away, Market Towns of Bawtry, Retford, Doncaster also Sheffield, Chesterfield and Bakewell are within easy reach.

Which means you couldn't be better placed for your visit to the Heart of England!
