A delightful and charming period cottage set amid the historic Forest of Sherwood .Formally one of seven village pubs, in the quiet village of Wellow with its traditional maypole and olde world pub (olde red lion and Durham ox ).

The cottage has been refurbished in 2010 and has a wealth of character :beamed ceilings ,open fireplaces ,flag stone floors ,antique furniture and traditional private cottage garden.

The property has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms with separate showers, sauna, a modern kitchen and dining area for 6 .

Central heating throughout is included in the price.

The cottage has its own gardens with a lawn, garden furniture, garage and secure storage for bicycles.

The cottage is available for week long stays or long weekends .
