Directions
We are approximately one hour north of Perth or half an hour south of Aberdeen.
The best way (coming from the north or the south) is to leave the A90 dual carriageway at Fordoun where there is a large sign to Inverbervie and Arbuthnott (B967). After about 3 miles you drive through Arbuthnott, past the Grassic Gibbon Centre and the playing field, and the Old School is next on the left behind the beech hedge.
If you do come in from the A92 coast road, the B967 is just north of Inverbervie and after some 2.5 miles having past the "Arbuthnott" sign at the entrance to the village, the School is the second house on the right.
