Located in the village of Fulbeck, twenty minutes south of Lincoln, The Forge self-catering accommodation offers guests a peaceful, well-equipped retreat in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside.
Once the village blacksmith’s forge this attractive cottage with its own small patio area is set in the grounds of the owner’s home. Tastefully converted, the cottage is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire countryside or visiting the City of Lincoln with its famous cathedral and castle.
The Forge sleeps two non-smokers in a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room. A further first floor bedroom is available for one or two children sharing their parent’s shower room and toilet.
All bed linen and towels are provided as is all the heating and electricity. Wi-fi Internet access is available, enabling guests to send and receive emails or just surf the net.

The Forge is located just off the Grantham-Lincoln road (A607). From the A1, leave the road at Newark and turn follow the signs for the A17 to Boston. You will pass the large Curry's warehouse, then cross a couple of roundabouts. After approx 5 miles, you will see a turning to your left for Leadenham. Take this and when you reach the Traffic lights in Leadenham turn right. A further mile or so down the road you will enter Fulbeck. Carry on the main road, turning right when you reach the foot of the hill. Follow Washdyke Lane, past where it crosses the High Street and you will find The Forge on your right hand side.
