In Designated National Scenic Area and standing entirely by itself in the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve, one hour from Inverness and ten minutes from Torridon. Cairn Shiel is a well appointed 4 star rated detached bungalow, sleeping up to 6 people. Set in a stunning location the house overlooks Beinn Eighe, Slioch and the Torridon Mountains and is close to the beautiful Loch Maree.

The house has a large L shaped lounge with dining area, and picture windows overlooking Beinn Eighe. The modern and well-equipped kitchen has a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer and tumble dryer. There are 3 bedrooms, all nicely furnished and with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a king size bed and there are two further twin bedrooms.

The bathroom has a bath plus overbath shower and there is another separate washroom/wc. Front and rear porches have ample hanging space and storage. Gardens to front and rear with plenty of parking space.

Pine martens regularly visit the house, especially if you feed them(!) and deer and eagles are often seen.

A track at the side of the house leads up to the top of Beinn Eighe, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area, and in addition to mountain walking and climbing, there are many nature trails and walks to suit all abilities.

Kinlochewe has shops, petrol station, hotel/restaurant plus 2 coffee shops.

The area's attractions include fishing, walking, climbing, cycling boat trips on Loch Maree, whale watching and marine life trips from Gairloch Harbour, golf course, swimming pool, museum and deer museum, falconry, and of course the glorious Highland scenery.
