Torridon is one of the more spectacularly beautiful parts of the west coast. Caladh looks south across Upper Loch Torridon, with open view to the sea and mountains. We are the last house but one on the made road, so extremely quiet. 4 Minutes footpath walk to beach (no road access, so you have it to yourself).
Caladh is a 1970s bungalow, with kitchen/dining room with open fire, Kitchen/diner will seat 8 at a sitting. Sitting room with open fire, bathroom, shower room, 3rd WC. Coal provided for fires, wood usually available in the grounds.
Electric wall mounted heaters on time clocks in all rooms (please read meter at start and end and send us a cheque for what you use).
Double room, twin room and smaller twin room downstairs. At £200 extra a further 2 bedrooms are available upstairs - king sized double and single. These extra rooms are not part of the tourist board grading.
One acre of fenced grounds, with woodland hillside plantation to rear, with rhododendrons, eucalyptus, hardwood, softwood, and a stone and timber "retreat house" - perfect for coffee or drinks. We have been operating and upgrading this house since 1982 and have many repeat visitors.
